Frequently asked questions
What this does, what it doesn't, and the questions we get most.
The basics
What is SQMATE?
An information service that shows how far US and Korean stocks, commodities, and major crypto have come in their upswing cycle. Search a ticker and its cycle position and verdict land on one screen. Not investment advice or a solicitation to trade.
What are SQ signals?
Analysis rules built from the setups with the best win rates across the creator's 10+ years of hands-on trading, turned into code and still evolving. Grounded in past experience and data — no guarantee of future returns, so treat it as reference.
How was the algorithm built?
10+ years of recordsBest win rate / R:RCode + learning material
The creator went back through a decade of their own trading records, pulled out the setups with the best win rate and reward-to-risk, and coded those entry and exit conditions exactly as they stood. Each algorithm ships with material explaining the conditions behind its signals, so you follow the reasoning instead of just the output. The rules come from past data and guarantee nothing.
How verdicts work
How are cycle stages determined?
We measure the long-term price trend and how high the trailing 12-month return sits against its own history, then sort every name into four stages. Same rules for tickers, sectors, and markets.
Can I trade based on the analysis alone?
No. Every indicator here is an observation of past data and guarantees nothing about the future. SQMATE informs your judgment; the decision and the consequences are yours.
Using SQMATE
Which markets are covered, and when does data update?
US and Korean stocks, commodities, and major crypto, updated at each trading-day close.
How much does it cost?
Signing up opens every feature free for a trial, no card required. After that you drop to the free plan (a few reports a day, one alert, one screen of your own, one screen search a day); a monthly or yearly subscription keeps everything open. Exact length and price are on the subscription screen, and cancelling stops the next charge.
Where do I send feedback, suggestions, or bug reports?
Email admin@sqmate.com. Pain points, feature ideas, wrong data — send it and we'll look into it and get back to you.
