Origin line held
BullishPrice cleared the no-supply band outright, spent a phase above it, then came all the way back to the level the advance started from and closed still holding it. Sliding straight back down through a band that has only just formed is a failed breakout rather than a retest, and does not count here
Most patterns resolve their way only 50–60% of the time — nearly half miss.

How to read it
The lower edge of a no-supply band is the level its advance started from. This signal is the day price — having cleared the band outright and spent a phase above it — comes all the way back to that level and closes still holding it.
There is a reason the level is the edge and not the middle. A void has nothing in it to lean on: neither side is thick in there, so price travels through it quickly in both directions. Counting across the full daily history of hundreds of symbols, the first touch of the band was indistinguishable from any other day; only the return to the origin line looked different.
Sliding straight back down into a band that has just formed does not earn this name. That is a failed breakout rather than a retest, and the counting split precisely there. Only a retest that arrives after the band has been cleared and a phase has passed above it becomes a signal.
It records that the level was held, not what comes next. Support earns the name only after it is confirmed, and the second test of the same line is a different story again.

A window SQMATE's detectors actually flagged in past bars. It records a day that worked out — the same shape doesn't always resolve the same way.

No more eyeballing charts
You don't have to flip through charts hunting for shapes. Signal watch pings your browser the moment a condition is met, patterns on your watchlist arrive by email, and the screener lists every symbol that matched today.
SQMATE draws the lines
Support lines, trendlines, channels — the lines you need to read a pattern are drawn for you, so no time goes into drawing.
Patterns aren't the whole story
The same shape doesn't always resolve the same way. It's safer to read it together with candles, volume, and market context — news, catalysts, flows.

Origin line held — we'll tell you the moment it forms
No flipping through charts hunting for this shape. The alert comes the moment it completes, and the lines you need are drawn ahead of time — like the chart below.
